I've had both. In my experience the male doctors just reach down and hold your testicles and don't get all "up close and personal". The female Dr, however, sat in a chair and me stand in front of her and drop pants and brieffs to my ankles. So my "stuff" was right in her face. Kind of akward, but she was hot, so kind of a turn on too.

Not really. I had both male and female gynecologists. They were both professional. I just wanted the best doctor for my particular health issues.

When I was younger I did not care what gender my doctor was and then OBYGN was all men. That is not true (thank goodness) anymore and as an older female I am glad I have a woman doctor whereas my husband does not care one way or the other.

I would rather be examined by a female doctor.

It shouldn't matter... a doctor is a doctor regardless of the gender. However, when I played football in High School, one game I decided not to wear my protective cup to protect my "nuts." Well, I went for a tackle and the running back nailed me between my legs with his helmet full speed. I had to go to the emergency room. This very attractive nurse, smelling good, looking good, began to rub this cream on my privates... it felt sooooo good, and I got fully errected. Now, I'm a teenager and was totally embarrassed. The female doctor told me not to worry, it happens...

Now that was a strange... :)

She could have handed it to you to apply yourself. It was strange that she didn't.

I think so... I thought about it several times in the past, but I understand why... she had to make sure there was no physical damage too. It was strictly business for her. And my reaction was not "sexual" too. It was more mechanical. I was a scared teenager. :)

Okay, but I have to tell you, and maybe I was just more likely to raise a fuss than you were, but I had an issue when I was a young, and first of all, I insisted on a woman doctor, and second of all, she gave me something and I was allowed to put it on myself.

The gender of the doctor doesn't bother me... but, I do understand for some people. You know, I sometimes think that some of us do have hang ups about nudity. It was interesting when I was stationed in Germany and in Korea and how those people living there didn't have the same issues we have...

If there isn't a difference between the way worldly people view nudity and the way Christians view nudity, then Christians have a problem.

    1 Timothy 2:8-10
8 Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.

9 Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, 10 but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness.

To me, their gender does not matter - I just detest physicals and avoid them as much as possible.

I have a female doctor, and I dread prostate exams, but I did with a male doctor too. I guess it doesn't really matter.
