Are Oreos brown or black?

this has been a debate in my family for a long time and i wanna know what you guys think. i personally think they are brown (a very dark brown)...but they are chocolate so they are brown

oreos maybe chocolate cookie which is brown but since oreos use different dyes to make the cookie it turns the oreo black and in the light it looks brown so oreos are black not very dark brown

of course there black, but i do actully think you can get different colours !!! because some pictures look brown and then others are black, but the ones i always eat are definetly BLACK!

I agree.They are a very dark brown and soooo good with a glass of cold milk.
