Mostly because of frozen sperm and artificial insemination. Men have become slightly superfluous.

Yes, I know, but I couldn't come up with a humorous answer to your original intent. Besides, a world dominated by women will, in my view, be far more Christlike, more genuinely loving.

Both are equally important in their role as parent's! It's natural and the way it's supposed to be!

While mothers are certainly important, so are fathers.

Dads are important especially when a child is old enough to need discipline.
But without a mom in the tender early years your life would likely be a disaster.

Moms and Dads are equally important in nurturing children. Even though their roles are sometimes different, children need to love, learn and understand all that each parent contributes to their needs.

I meant no! Finger slipped...sorry! IMHO, Dads are vital ...as are Moms. But, if either or both don't have their child s best interests at heart, that child will do better w/o them then to spend a lifetime getting over damage they cause!

They are both important in their own way....unless cruelty or abuse for the mother or the child is involved, or other situations...Mother's fill one need and Dad's others...but of course it is possible for one or the other to do both...but it takes a very special person...

That is a tough one. My husband and I balance each other out when dealing with the kids (he is their step-dad). Where I am weak he is strong and vice versa, so I could not say one of us is more important than the other, just like our marriage, it is a partnership.

If both parents are caring and loving, then both are equally important. It is in the child's best interest, but if one or both are bum/bumette and they are together, the child suffers. In that case neither are very important, or at least in a positive way, if they let the other's action(s) affect the child.
