I've yet to meet anyone who is happier doing house work.The only scenario I can possibly fathom is that their wives are less tired resulting in more sex.

At least I am, when it comes to washing the dishes or tidying up I love it. It's nice for me at least to erase the mess and keep things clean. I like my environment to be clean.

Not perticularly, I like the out doors, and the wife likes her soaps. I don't care for waxing the kitchen and bathroom floor, and she doesn't like mowing the grass, or using the chainsaw for large limb removial.

Its kind of infuriating when I see headlines about a study that have NOTHING to do with what the study actually found.

The kind of man who is in a situation where he is likely to split housework is more likely to have these advantages. Maybe this means his wife is more likely to work, so they have 2 incomes. Maybe this leads to a better marital life. Maybe good marital life leads to more likelihood to split housework. Maybe a guy who is more likely to do housework is physically fit enough that he doesn't put up a fuss. There is a lot of explanations here. Saying that men doing houseworks makes them happy is like saying that drinking milk leads to heroine abuse because hey, most heroine users drank milk before.

I guess they would be happier if the woman is happier, but I don't think the housework itself would make anyone happy. I think couples would be tend to be happier if the work is divided equally overall.
