Researchers at Sweden's Umea University say male shirkers are more prone to anxiety and heart palpitations and less able to concentrate than men who split domestic chores 50-50 with their partners.

The kind of man who is in a situation where he is likely to split housework is more likely to have these advantages. Maybe this means his wife is more likely to work, so they have 2 incomes. Maybe this leads to a better marital life. Maybe good marital life leads to more likelihood to split housework. Maybe a guy who is more likely to do housework is physically fit enough that he doesn't put up a fuss. There is a lot of explanations here. Saying that men doing houseworks makes them happy is like saying that drinking milk leads to heroine abuse because hey, most heroine users drank milk before.
Most people do not enjoy cleaning and the enjoyment of cleaning has nothing to do with gender.
