Is it too old to shave? No? Then it's not too old to wax. What's with the stigma against waxing? The only way it's different from shaving is it lasts longer and is a bit painful...

I think it depends on what they are waxing.

I'd say it depends on the type of waxing: legs, arm pits and eyebrows (for those that do) I'd say it's ok. Brazilian, on the other hand, that's way too young, my daughter will need to be, at least, 18, or out of my house for that one.

You know why children are growing faster these days? 'CAUSE IT'S SIMPLE EVOLUTION! We are EVOLVING! The age of puberty in both girls and boys are getting younger and younger with each generation that passes.

And it's not a 'sex' matter. It's a 'self-image' matter. It's all about feeling comfortable in your own body. Is 15 too young for a chubby girl to start running on a treadmill if she wishes to?

It's a must for those with hairy legs and armpits!! It will not only make them look much better, but it will also give them confidence and self-esteem.

Old enough to have a period = old enough to wax. Now I'm not saying 12 year old kids should wax, but you have to realize that at that age self consciousness is developed. Society is always pushing and pushing and shoving their beliefs of beautiful under our noses. All those supermodels with perfect tan and not a hair on their body. And girls just wanna look pretty. Besides, it's just like shaving only a bit more painful, but once it's done you don't have to worry about it for a while. Even the pain is durable, especially if you compare it to cramps. My mum took me to my first wax when I was 14 for my small prom. She was the same age when she waxes for the first time. For all those fathers who think that their daughters aren't supposed to do that, you just don't want to see them grow up. Look at it this way, your wives probably did it too when they were teenagers.

I have a sixteen year old daughter whose younger friends tan at a salon. I am against things like this because these kids aren't fully developed as adults physically and I think it could be detrimental to their health. They are always in a hurry to grow up.

I don't see why underage girls can't or shouldn't wax their legs. It's just another form of getting rid of your hair and another way to groom yourself.

It's a girls choice but I don't understand why they'd want to do that. How hard is it to shave? How many people are looking at that dirty clap trap where you need to justify making it shine like a new car?

If you have hairy, unsightly legs, then yeah, they should be able to do anything to get rid of it. I started shaving in 4th grade. However you choose to get rid of it, is your choice, I don't care.

It's pretty embarrassing for pubs to show in the bikini area of a girl of any age, I wouldn't want some dude giving her a Brazilian though.

For proper grooming, and social normalcy. 92% of women 13 years and older shave their legs in America.

As long as they are over twelve. I don't think any one under twelve should shave or wax, unless they have very intense armpit hair which can be embarrassing.

because some REALLY need it. But no one should be forced to. it is their decision. I know guy whose 16 year old daughter is getting laser treatment to permanently lose underarm hair. says it is expensive too but the wife is paying for it.
