Are fireworks legal where you live?

I live in Arizona, anything that uses gun powder is legal here. :-)

But for quite some time nationwide the gun powder amount has been lowered in legal fireworks.NOT bootlegs.They are nothing like the one's from the 60's that would blow fingers off. The terrorist that put fireworks in a car bomb in Times Square in 2010 bought them in PA(illegal in NY/NJ) not knowing they weren't powerful. He bought Silver Salute M-88's in Matamoras Pa M-80's in the 60's were more powerful than Ash Cans.Cherry bombs,Ash Cans,M-80 than M-88 than block busters in order of explosiveness.Those new M-88's are equal to an old Black Cat firecracker in gunpowder grains.That you could hold in your hand and get a numb finger at worst in the 60's. http://capitalregion.ynn.com/...

Everyone goes over the line to Michigan to buy their fireworks. They aren't legal, but that doesn't stop people.

They sell them here but you have to sign a waiver stating that you're taking them across the state line to use.

For the first time in years we can once agin buy fireworks in Michigan. The statutes against them never worked anyway because the old guard police force simply looked away when everyone fired off their supply bought in Indiana.

I can buy them here, just a matter of finding a place where you can set them off without someone calling the police on you. lol

I wish they'd outlaw them altogether, but the city and the Chamber of Commerce benefit from it, so that's not going to happen.
