A devoted black Labrador stayed by her friend’s side after the dog died. The animal braved traffic to stay near another dog that had been struck and killed by a car in Los Angeles. Neither dog had any identification tags.

I don't think they're MORE loyal than humans, but I do know for a fact that dogs can be very, very loyal indeed. But then I know some humans that fit that bill just as well.

If you want to see who is more loyal and loves you most. Do this simple test.

Lock your wife and dog in the trunk of your car for 3 hours. Let them out and see which one is happy to see you.

Not only are they more loyal, but more honest. If a dog likes you, you get a tail wag.... if they don't - you get a growl, and maybe a bite.

I believe they are. There is loyalty in humans, but dogs are some the most loyal creatures I know.

Sometimes, just like any humen it depends on the dog. But i would say that dogs in most cases are more loyal. That picture is so sad :( that dog must have felt so so sad.

A dog will cuddle and kiss you even if you're covered in cow pies.
A human will tell you to take a shower first.
A dog will help you carry a dead body rolled up in a rug.
A human will call the police.
A dog will defend you sacrificing it's life if necessary.
A human may or may not...depending on their priorities. Probably not.
A dog will endure being tickled & pet too rough and never complain.
A human will complain and maybe even start a "playful" fight.
A dog will recieve food with humility and gratitude.
A human sees recieving food as a condition of being alive.

And so forth...

Poor puppy. Our first dogs were a Golden and a black Lab. Sandy died at age 14. We moved soon after. Pete would climb the fence and walk through traffic back to our old house to look for her. He missed her so much. Dogs are loyal.

I am currently taking care of my brother's Akita. He told me that it would be for a few months till he got his life together. That was when the dog was about five years old; the dog is now nine years old. The dog in question thinks the world of me--but I cannot understand why he still thinks so well of my brother when I take care of him.

I know this might sound pathetic, but sometimes my dog feels like she's my only friend. She's the only one that stands by me no matter what and doesn't judge. Dogs are definatley better than humans.

my dog sits with me constantly when I'm sick (like right now) but my own mom decided to go have sex with her boyfriend in the middle of the day (this was an hour or two ago she was doing that, I've been sick all day)
