First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes... a divorce ring? French jewelry designer Gisele Ganne has created a "divorce ring" as a way to say "I don't!" And unlike an engagement ring, where a guy saves up two months' salary and gets down on one knee, a woman buys a divorce ring for herself. (With his money? We kid.)

And the rings aren't exactly sweet and romantic. According to The Daily Mail, they feature "subverted" wedding symbols, like gold bird skulls decorated with a bride’s bouquet. Ganne also features broken hearts with daggers, and brass knuckles (get it?).

"Mourning is not just about dead people," says Ganne, according to Yahoo! Shine. "It is also about dead relationships and decaying marriages." Ganne's rings start at about $1,345 and can be found on boticca.com. But do you really want to advertise to everyone you know that you've just gotten divorced? Is that really the healthiest way to move on? We think not.

When people get a divorce, they want to move on with their lives and forget about the other person. Besides, imagine this question coming up in conversation with a cute guy or gal you just got a date with:
"Hey, isn't that one of those divorce rings?"
"Um, yeah?"
"So... You were married before?"
"Um, kinda... It didn't really work out..."
"Oh, ok. I see."

Will things ever be the same again? I think not.

Some people will be in a mood tp celebrate it while others wont want to be reminded of it. In my opinion people should be able to wear them if they wanted to... besides, the rings look cool!

I see a lot of people are asking "Why would you want to celebrate/brag about getting a divorce?" I know many people, some in my own family, that could be perfectly justified in celebrating their divorce. Yes, divorce is a difficult and terrible thing. So is living in an abusive relationship. I feel that if someone wants to get a ring like this to celebrate that they are moving on with their lives in a healthy way, more power to them. Divorce does not equal failure. It just means that you no longer want to stay married to your spouse, regardless of reason.
