Breast augmentation was the top cosmetic surgical procedure in the United States last year, with 296,000 going under the knife, according to The American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Augmentations rose two percent, with silicone implants used in 60 percent of the procedures.
This news struck us as kind of scary, given that the Food and Drug Administration is investigating a possible connection between both saline and silicone implants and the risk of anaplastic large cell lymphoma, a very rare type of cancer.
According to The Huffington Post, other complications of breast surgery and silicone and saline breast implants include infection, chronic breast pain, breast or nipple numbness, hardened and misshapen breasts, breakage and leakage, disfigurement, cognitive impairment, metal poisoning, debilitating autoimmune disease and death, among other ailments.
All good reasons for women to love what their mamas gave them. Besides, implants tend to make women look like they're in line to be Hugh Hefner's next wife. Do you agree?

No+20I can't understand why women feel the need to have big jugs. I have them, and they're uncomfortable and heavy. I wasn't "blessed" with big ones. I was cursed!!! Ha Ha! Mine cost alot of money to "support". Terrible pun, huh? Hee Hee!

My good friends wife had 4 children and said her boobs pointed straight to the ground. Now with implants they are firm and perky. She likes them.
My wife got them and they are fantastic for everyone involved. From a B to a full C is a beautiful thing.
Sorry couldn't hold myself
Besides anybody remember Lolo Ferrari? That's what insecurity does to you!
p.s. by the way... my big toes are too small for me... I am serious thinking about enlargement .... what do you think?
I have a hard enough time changing my oil without my boobs getting in the way.
As a male I can tell you I love breasts...of ALL sizes.
Women shouldn't believe the image that Hollywood sells as normal. I believe most men want to see normal-looking breasts, my guess anyway. Women wearing these extra large implants in tiny bikinis just don't look normal. Normal breasts don't pop out like balloons. Problem is, women will pay large sums of money to purchase implants that just don't look normal.
When women lay down, so should their breasts!
BUT, like I was saying, for psychological reasons, for the ladies who have absolutely nothing and those recovering from mastectomies, I'd encourage smaller saline implants from a reputable surgeon.
