Are Adults with imaginary friends Normal or not?

Adults with imaginary friends are Normal
Adults with imaginary friends are not Normal
Studies that are out there seem to link imaginary friends with dissociative identity disorder (aka multiple personality disorder).
If one person has an imaginary friend, they're crazy, if many people have the same imaginary friend it's called religion
You could make SO MUCH MONEY selling Biblical Plague insurance! You get to take money from idiots who actually think a Biblical Plague is coming, and they will NEVER prove anything in court to get a claim!
If the IRS knew that leprechauns were real, I'd have been audited for that pot of gold they gave me a long time ago. So let's just keep pretending they're fake, so I can continue to enjoy this pure, tax-free gold.
When we get crazies from two different religions on here to argue over who's imaginary friend is the most powerful, it’s war
God is the most universally accepted imaginary friend
If you believe in an all powerful being that no one has evidence for (god), your belief is supposed to be respected. If you believe in a slightly powerful being that no one has evidence for (leprechaun), your belief isn't supposed to be respected
There is evidence for the existence of god, but the evidence can be read in different ways and there is no proof. There is evidence against the existence of god, but there is no proof. Theism isn't irrational - they have some very sound arguments. If you
One person has an imaginary friend, he is clearly crazy.
Crazy is a matter of perspective and opinion. As long as you don't blow up your self, your enemy, or have sex with children or goats you are in all likely hood relatively sane on the spectrum of sane /crazy!!!
You will never see my imaginary friend because you are looking in the wrong world. He lives, exists, in spirit and in eternity which is timeless and limitless.
You!

People with imaginary friends have a mass delusion. It is not just dangerous for them, it dangerous for the rest of us.
Belfast, Bosnia, Beirut, Bombay (today Mumbai), Nigeria, Iraq (where muslims are killing other muslims), Israel and many others would ALL benefit immensely from an overnight conversion to atheism.
Not to mention pathetic attempts of the christian extremists in the USA to teach kids creationism as a valid theory and other religious pushes.

I think we should stop wasting our time judging people we don't even know and get on to taking care of those we do. I won't worry until I meet someone with an imaginary friend and then decide his sanity level.

If you speak to God... You're Spiritual. If God Speaks to You... You're Schizophrenic.

I have known and spoken to thousands of people who say god speaks to them. I can assure you they are certifiably crazy.

I can't say I've run into thousands of people with that disposition. But everyone I've ever met who claimed to hear voices, not one of them ever mentioned those voices telling them to do the right thing, IE, Pay the bills, Mow the lawn, set the alarm clock.

Every christian I have had a converstion with on SH has said that. And every truly religious person I have ever spoken to has also said that as well.

I have encountered a lot of those on Sodahead. They usually get sick of me fast. I spent many a year in Catholic School, and just because I no longer subscribe to it any more doesn't mean I forgot what I was taught. Most of them simply rely on the voices in their head. In the real world, my "religious" friends seem to only like the Kool aid churches. The kinds where after a while one will realize that they're only there to acquire donations. Not just the collection baskets, they mail out flyers.
