I can only speak for my (50 year old) self. There's a big difference between noticing that someone is attractive and being attracted to them. There are some teenaged girls who look awfully mature, and who are attractive. Do I notice? You bet. I'm not dead. Am I attracted to them? No sir. Beneath that mature looking exterior, I know, beats the heart of a child.

Too each his own. But a 14 year old girl is a lot less physically mature than a 17 year old and 17 year old less mature than a 23 year old. But I know what you mean. My point is that you can eat fruit before it ripens but it tastes better if you wait (at least until 17 years old)... Guilt free sex is so much better than being on a sex offender list, just saying...

I look at women & think them attractive, but I wouldn't want to be with or have a crush on one, I just see them as attractive to look at.
I have a teenage young lady on here as a friend, she is very attractive, but I wouldn't attempt to be any more than friends with her, I'm probably older than her parents...

Basically the attraction is biologically instinctive and also applies to adult women and teen boys. Obviously humans have evolved beyond acting on instinct alone. While the attraction is normal actions beyond looking (involving someone under 18) can't be condoned.

That said, any two mentally competent people 18 or older that are not in a high school teacher / student relationship can do what they want.

The original question was simply about attraction not trying to hit on teenage girls. You either mis read the question or mis read one of my posts. obviously not all men do but many do. A lot are probably attracted to them but won't act on their temptations for their age. But others do and I've known many older men who have hit on me and tried to date me while knowing my age.

Assuming the teenager is physically mature, then it is totally normal and understandable. There is often very little visual difference between a 16-year-old and a 20-year-old. However, adult men also need to remember that although a teenager may look mature, she may not be ready for a mature relationship. It's up to the adult to use discretion and not pursue someone who is too young.

Girls up to 18 are not going to be wanted for marriage, most likely. A guy will want them for play. Kids should not be having sex because they are not mature mentally and emotionally for it.

No, but dating is a normal precursor to marriage, so I see nothing wrong with teens under 18 dating provided the person they are dating is also young. The problem occurs when one is much older and is taking advantage of the teen's naivety.
