Anyone from the St. Louis area, what are the road conditions like?

My son is wanting to go back to University today early for some kind of meeting but I'm trying to talk him out of it...he's being stubborn. I already know the schools are out so that tells me something but I can't seem to find any road conditions. He'll be going up I-44 and that road between Rolla and St. Louis is dangerous with all the truckers in the summer on a sunny day.

Any help would be appreciated!

im in kansas city, not that close really but the main streets and highways are good here, but the sidestreets are still pretty effed. probably not gonna help you too much

Yeah, us too but he has to go up to St. Louis for school. I got him talked out of it so he's going tomorrow.

Thanks! I finally managed to talk him out of it. He'll go tomorrow when the roads have a chance to be cleaned up!
