comes every day,
mooching carrots
it's a fair trade though
in the fall, I'll eat him an use his hide for something
use some of it on a dreamcatcher
some for decoration on a knife
I had a ledger covered with coyote
that sold rather fast
"take only what you can use & leave the rest"
early lesson I was taught

Be a tasty treat, come fall, and pretty 'dreams' from the catcher too, I'm sure !
For Christmas one year, I made dreamcatchers for my nei / phews, about 10 of 'em...
Snuck downstairs in the middle of the night to 'decorate' the Christmas tree with 'dreams' ~
Kiddo's and parents sure were surprised that morning, and the tree looked beautiful too !
A few still have 'em ~ Fun to make ~ local willow, clay beads, mountain grouse feathers ~
Gotta make, like, 20 more, now, though, cuz nei / phews multiply like bunnies ;0 )
Made a skinnin'knife for my dad, one year, leaf spring from an old bus,
cut, ground, an'shined up nice, with a white tail horn handle,
an'leather sheath, laced, with sinew ~ He ain't used it...
He's got it hangin' the wall, for decoration ;0 )
Sentimental 'dad' that he is ~
Doesn't wanna dirty it !
I LOVE makin'stuff
like that ;0 )
