Anti-Cheating Rings: Would It Actually Work?

If you ever worry that your significant other might remove their wedding ring in a tempting situation, TheCheeky might have just the thing to keep you calm. Their patented "anti-cheating rings" will leave an imprint of the words "I'm Married" on the wearer's finger when the ring is removed, making it literally impossible to cheat. Did we say literally impossible? We meant to say slightly more difficult.

The product page reads, "The negative engraving on the inside means that when you are in the 'Club' and an attractive woman... or man comes along to chat, slipping your wedding ring off is not an option ... Made of strengthened Titanium. Life time guarantee, ‘til death and all that." And it'll only cost you $550! But would it actually work?

i m married

.... All they have to do is not wear it.

Also, people, seriously, this IS YOUR SPOUSE. NOT your DOG.

You do not OWN your spouse.

That is ridiculous. I thought a wedding band was supposed to be enough incentive not to cheat.

What's to keep the wearer from rotating the ring often to eliminate the 'stamp'. Besides, who wants to wear a ring that disfigures your finger and likely can cause circulation problems?

unfortunately if you're gonna cheat, you're gonna cheat. sucks but that's the truth. & if you're in a DARK club you aren't going to see an imprint unless it's glow in the dark or something. but even then it's hard to read what it says. dumb and a waste of $$

if there's so little trust in the relationship that they feel the need to make their partner wear this... i just. this is. surely people don't buy into this, right?

If wearing a plain old fashion one won't stop him/her, a new style won't. It seems to me this is a money making scheme.

People don't care if you have a ring or not these days. Actually having a ring on makes it easier to cheat because the opposite party will no that you won't be nagging or bugging them afterwards the next day.

Sad but true most women look for the ring. They know he won't become attached and has something at home to lose.

No it wont come close to working for a variety of reason..., starting with the main reason..., Which is..., if the fact that they are in what is suppose to be a monogamous relationship wont stop them from cheating, a ring on their finger has no chance.

Secondly.., what's to stop the cheater from removing the wedding ring and putting some other kind of ring on their ring finger,,,? And third..., less not for get there are lots..., and I mean A LOT of people that care less about their sex partner being married.

The only thing Anti Cheating Ring is good for is making money off of those that are dumb enough to buy into its theory.... Greedy nasty cheating people are like damned water..., they are going to find a way to escape their restraints...JOMO

All they have to do is take off the ring. And besides, the other person probably won't care.

if you can't trust your mate, and you need a ring to tell people they're spoken for, then what's the point. It makes your mate sound like a whore.

If you feel that this is necessary, then you probably shouldn't marry that person. Besides, if someone is going to cheat, this ring isn't going to stop them. It's not that hard to find someone who doesn't care if you're married or not.

Many people don't care if you're married or not. I've had a woman who knew me personally try to sleep with my husband. So, the impression won't stop the other person. And, let's faceit, if you need the ring, it won't stop your spouse either. They'll just keep looking until they find someone who doesn't care that they're married.

Cheaters are liars, "Ooops, I see your married, nevermind", yeah, right, you've got bigger problems before you if you think that ring is going to help anything.....

It would probably do nothing to curb a cheaters heart but might let the other party know that the individual is married since that is an excuse i'm sure is used quite often. I'm all for just letting the spouse decide for themselves whether that fling is worth losing the spouse, the marriage or the family ...

I can't stand wearing any type of rings.. I had my wedding ring on when I got married and by the end of the night I had taken it off and I've never worn it since.. I can't stand wearing them.. I don't think a ring will change the fact that someone is going to cheat..

    Of course it wont work.

    A. Some people are quite happy to be in a relationship with you, be sexual with you whether married or not.
    B. Some people feel that they're in an unfair marriage (being forced to wear this ring maybe?) and therefore can justify cheating, others may also agree.

In the long run there is no way to prevent cheating other than to be 100% completely honest with your partner. There's give and take on both sides, you might find that both of you have to say and do things that you don't particularly like but when a relationship is worth it, you'd do almost anything to ensure that you're faithful and honest to each other.
