I feel like that could go horribly, horribly wrong.
It's pretty obvious that many, many animals can out-do us at most things, we don't need to add them to our Olympics to see that. The only thing we have on our side is technology...

Though I wouldn't say "no" if the animals could produce citizenship papers and be charismatic enough to represent their nation in front of the rest of the world and have enough intelligence to understand competition and what they need to do.

that'd be amusing, but have you ever tried getting a cheetah to run in a nice straight line in front of thousands of spectators, with a human, an ostrich and a gazelle. he just stops for munchies, and that's if you can even get him onto the track.
