Human beings would be made to look decidedly unimpressive were animals allowed to compete in the Olympics -- outperformed by the likes of kangaroos, gorillas and ostriches, a science paper said.

you know those advanced brain thingies....
But I would be willing to bet our our running times would be much faster...
It's obvious they would defeat us, there are many animals that are better at running, swimming, jumping etc.
As to other animals, if it is really fun for them, some comparisons might be quite inspiring.
Actually, a race between a human, a horse (with rider) and a greyhound had been organised once.
(of course more than a few of the present Olympic competitors would have an equally difficult time doing so as well)
A science paper revealed that if animals were allowed to compete in the Olympics, humans would look much less impressive. Maybe, but humans are better at math. hehehe :-P
It would be interesting to see some dog competitions added, or to see an official pet Olympics.
made me think of squirrels with only two or three legs using prosthetics wearing huge dark eyeglasses :) poor little things
