I just bought a 7" Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet and love it. It's not all that an iPad is, but it has great apps, fast browsing, excellent camera and 8 GB of memory plus a micro SD card slot for up to 32 GB, and strong Wi-Fi. It cost under $100 plus I paid $12,00 for a leather case with a keyboard.
All in all, I spent less than $130 and love it.
Yes, i Pads are good for those who want to pay an additional $400.00+ for only marginal extra benefits. And i Pad accessories cost up to 4x accessories for the Android.
I'm on a budget!

I think we will save everything from programs to data up to the cloud and eventually those computers with massive hard drives and capacity will give way to simpler machines that access everything centrally.reply

It's nice but it has some drawbacks like all Apple products, it doesn't use flash. That doesn't seem like a big deal until you're trying to watch or use something that uses it, then it's a big deal!reply
