So you don't like people who are liberal or Gay which at least confirms your lack of social and human tolerance and therefore your belief that you are Conservative.Human sexuality though is not something we can determine ourselves as that is part of each individuals innate personality and human personality is by nature diverse(thank goodness!).
Homosexuality therefore occurs regardless of a persons political leaning,religious beliefs or whether one has any interest in politics or religion at all.Humans can of course deny their own initial natural sexual responses to themselves and indeed this is not uncommon.Often when humans mature and have had experience it becomes impossible to continue to suppress their natural and true sexual desires-and just as the personal characters of heterosexuals vary-so does the personalities of Homosexuals.There are for example the"feminine"types and"macho"character types of both female and male homosexuality and all sorts of types in between or with various degrees of both types.
In all honesty, I was only ever shocked by one celebrity coming out, and that is because I watched Neil Patrick Harris snort coke of the ass of a stripper in Harold and Kumar got to White Castle. But, I got over it pretty quickly, because he didn't really change.
