An unattractive person hits on you, how do you tell them your not interested without hurting their feelings?

It would depend on what my circumstances were at the time, but I would
say for now that there is someone else that I am interested in.

It wouldn't help, they would just monitor you to see if anything works out and they'll be right back at you again like pigeon in a park

By saying "not interested" with something polite in front depending upon the come on. Situation reversed, that response would be fine for me.

You know, you've got a point. If I don't want to go with you, that should be the end of it. I don't owe the person an explanation, nor should I be expected to spare their feelings. I'm not going to outright insult somebody, but if the person get's butt hurt and can't handle rejection.... oh well. Not my problem.
