Yep, when they drafted me in the early 70s they weren't overly pleased to see a Canadian passport, and Japanese passport and military IDs sitting in my footlocker. They'd start yelling about dual citizenship being illegal (it was back then), and I'd reply "Fine, I'll renounce my US citizenship, Canada and Japan don't care about it, and I'm registered as an agent for Japan, so you can just discharge me and I'll go back to initial scouting of itinerary routes for their security people. Funny, they never said a word about it again.

This is an option that many Americans are considering. We no longer have freedom here. Many politicians are leaving the country & becoming ex-pats. What does that tell you? Other countries are telling us to get out now... they already know the score.

We either have to get rid of our Government, which is the preferred option or choose to leave. For those who choose to leave there will be heavy monetary fines. Immigrants have paid their way out of other countries to come into America, we will do the same to get out. It's all about the money. There will come a time when the exit doors are closed in their quest for total control.

For years I've been posting the rise of Americans renouncing their citizenship. It's not the welfare recipients doing such it's those you've rightfully earned their money and are tired of giving it away to fund every ne'er do well.I know several and applied for dual citizenship in another country I have a property in.It disheartens me so to feel that way because I love this country but if obama gets another 4 I believe I'll no longer recognise it.On another note I hope to meet you tonight at the White Party.

Another 4 yrs of Obama & we are finished. I dont think many are going to stick around to see what happens if he is elected again. I too am prepared to move to another locale if necessary. He just signed 3 more executive orders giving the U.N full control.

The welfare recipients love him. He keeps their checks rolling & they are not affected by all of this. They are the ones scratching thier heads wondering what all the hub-bub is about. I have come to the conclusion that am simply a money maker for the government with little to no freedoms of my own.

I was not able to make it to the White Party this year. One of our money grubbing citizens took the liberty of changing lanes in front of my car & then slamming on the brakes last Sunday. I am learning that this is a new way to make money out there. I didnt want to bring the rental car into their parking lot. I have enough headaches this week. Everyone else is there having fun though, I hope you had a good time.

Obama has this place looking like Greece. We can save the trip.

We still have it better than most places. But, for how much longer? This place does seem to be going down hill. I hope it's not too late to turn it around.

Great article Mal. I want out myself and I don't have money, so it would be a lot harder for me. But if I ever do, this will be saved and waiting for me, thanks for posting.

At what point do we start changing our mascots And symbols that we relate to our freedom? U know like taking down the Statue of Liberty (we could scrap that bitch for some more weapons) we could change our national bird from the Eagle to something more fitting like a turkey or somthingt

Not to disparage the content of your statement but I wish you would not insult the turkey. In truth it is a much better bird than the scavenger Eagle or Vulture and was first proposed as a more peaceful and productive symbol for our nation by Ben Franklin. turkey national bird
