Anyone who calls you intellectually lazy for not believing every word of the Bible is themselves intellectually lazy. It's meant to be a book of stories to help people live their lives being kind and generous, not as a weapon to force others into a religion.

No, it's good to challenge any book that alleges a way of life and/or morality, whether it's the bible. book of shadows, book of Buddhism, satanism, etc. It is good to question all of them.

I studied these growing up and more and questioned them, and ended up throwing out all of them. I subscribe to no organized religion, no matter how small, big, etc.

I follow my own beat....
