For the last couple of weeks, we've been asking SodaHeads about their holiday habits and gift expectations for the 2011 holiday season, and now we've got enough data to fill a stocking. Thanksgiving will be here next week, which means open season for bargain-hunters and holiday shoppers.

But the holidays have changed over the years. Instead of Nerf guns and action figures, kids seem more interested in video games and technological gifts. Even adults are opting for cash and credit instead of physical gifts, which means the National Christmas Tree Association might need that commodity promotion after all. If all we're putting under the tree is a wad of cash and an iPhone, it's going to be a little lonely under the pine.

Number one wish is that the lump on my dog's chest is benign. And second wish is that I learn how to walk again, intelligently: USE MY CANE OR WALKER at all times!
I'm planning to WALK into stores on my own to do my Christmas shopping for my grandnieces and grandnephews. Kids love to rip open their presents!!!!!

Most important thing for christmas is spending time with the family. If i get something that doesn't cost alot but has alot of meaning those gifts are the best and someone always surprises me. I try to put thought into my gifts and if i see someone face light up and smile. I know that my message was delivered

I so agree with you on gift giving and spending time with family during the holidays!
One Christmas, I couldn't walk, so I sent my sister to do the Christmas shopping for me. She got "gift cards", which wasn't really "personal". Last year, I was able to do some walking, and was able to do my own shopping: painful, yes, but boy was it worth it for my grandnieces and grandnephews!

I just want my family to be safe, sound, and happy. I have been blessed to not have a bad Christmas due to family issues, and I pray it stays that way this year.

I have enough junk...just taking it easy and hanging with the family is enough.

I just want my son home safetly from Ramadi. His unit is covering all of the rest of the ones that are coming home first. I just hope and pray that Obama slaughter doesn't begin until their ship sails. (Actually I pray it doesn't happen at all, but .. I just don't see how that doesn't happen. We can only hope for a Christmas Miracle over there. Why do I keep getting sucked into SodaHead. You guys are geniuses.
