According to a new government survey, there has been an increase in the amount of women who consume alcohol while pregnant. In fact, the study revealed that some women who drink alcohol during pregnancy actually go on binges.
Further, "...nearly 1 in 5 said they went on at least one binge – downing four or more drinks. Pregnant women ages 35 to 44 were the biggest drinkers." The study included 14,000 pregnant women. What do you think of this recent fad? Is it OK... or dangerous?

Now we know a glass of red wine lowers cholesterol and cuts fat in a diet in adults. But drinking bathtub-gin through a beer bong while preggers causes Downs Syndrome. How much is too much? Too dangerous to take a chance, because they just don't know where the line is.
If alcohol can destroy an adult liver, what do you think it will do to a baby's?
Sorry, but I for one don't believe that humans need mind altering chemicals like alcohol in their system to be happy. Anything that can wreck a baby's development probably isn't healthy for humans in general.
Might explain a thing or two… … … … Asperger's for one.
REALLY worth the risk?
