How can we trust anything Al Gore says when he has been repeatedly proven wrong hand has made $100,000,000.00 as a direct result of the his fear-mongering?

Well, they took a drive past AlGore's house and he had every single light on to the maxx LOL!!

These people are a bunch of hypocrites and got rich off the Global Warming myth, Al Gore being one of the worst perpetrators!!

He was instrumental in the CCE, and was a big investor.........

The Chicago Climate Exchange was set up to "trade carbon credits" which would have
been set up if the Democrats had been able to pass Cap and Trade. The exchange
would have made millions......... with the failure of the Democrat congress to pass
Cap and Trade..... the exchange (CCE) went out of business.

It is no wonder Gore would push the idea of global warming because he would have
made millions......... as it was he made enough to get a Hollywood estate and a
trade his loving wife...Tipper, in for a new model...........

He has direct influence in Washington politics and insider knowledge of green energy so yeah I would say that he has a bit of conflict of interest. That would be like insider trading.

Do you know how many politicians go from public office directly to the boards of major companies when they are done with politics simply because of their connections? Quite a few. I don't think Gore is any more or less innocent than any of them.

I wasn't trying to blast you. Just contributing to the conversation. Insider trading is illegal though and right now, unless new evidence comes to light, what Gore is doing is not. Personally, I think the whole of this type of thing smells to high heaven. Politicians pass policies while in office that are not in the best interest of the populace, but because they know they will get paid by whatever industry benefits after they leave office via essentially a "no show" job. Legally we can't do anything because it isn't a bribe unless it can be proved they shook hands under the table before the politician left public office.

Which is exactly what happens in the other industries that employ ex-politicians in the banking industry, the military industry, etc. I'm not saying it is right by any means, but I also couldn't tell you how to stop it.

Some truth to what you say, but not the whole story either:

    http://www.factcheck.org/2012...

I can tell you that Europe has a much better infrastructure for that stuff as they have made it more of priority the past decade or so than we have over here. Plus, some of the money went to American companies who based their businesses overseas. Go figure.

My first post was with tongue firmly planted in cheek, BTW.
