Airplane Hits Cow During Landing: Is he a good pilot?

A British pilot is a small plane decided to land his plane in a field outside of London. The bad news is that he hit a cow as he landed, the good news is that everything got caught on tape!

    The cow will be okay, it was a pilot mistake

    The guy had to perform an emergency landing after the engine of his Tiger Moth stalled on him. He was trying to land and the cow wandered in front of his wing. Fortunately the cow was unhurt by the experience but I would imagine he was a bit more concerned at getting the plane on the ground and not crashing.

    Why on earth was the pilot landing a plane in a field? There are so many greater risks than just hitting the cow, but I still feel sorry for the animal :( :(

    my brother -n- law wanted to go skydiving. after his lessen he and the others taking the course took off on the plane. all the others jumped and my brother-n-law was the last one to jump. to his dismay, when he jumped the wind changed and he drifted off course. everyone hit the target but my b-n-l hit a transformer box and busted his ankle. it was just one of those freaky accidents that you hear about but never want to be apart of. that's what i think happen to this guy.

    Are we sure this isn't some extreme version of cow tipping? Because I want to change my answer to "The pilot has pretty good aim" if it is. I bet that moo beastie looks both ways before crossing that field again :)

    It's one cow. Sure, it might be painful for the cow, but thousands of people die each day because of things worse than that. Feel bad for the cow, but move on. It was a small mistake, and it wasn't the pilot's fault.
