Airbus 310 Crashes into Indian Ocean killing 150. Is the survivor blessed?

A Yemenia Air flight from Paris crashed into the Indian ocean killing 150 people and sparing a young child. Although the information regarding the exact age and gender of the passenger has yet to be confirmed, the odds that anyone could have survived the Airbus 310 crash are extremely slim. Do you think the child that survived the Airbus 310 crash is blessed or just extremely lucky.

A Yemenia airbus, you say? that's from Yemen, right? I can't wait until the Christians on this site, who no doubt reflexively said the child was blessed, find out that the child is a Muslim! The odds are that he or she was! Either way, I say it was plain good fortune!

Of course, the child is blessed. Only God says when it's your time to go. Heck, for all the sin I did in my youth, God should have killed me already. All the women, booze and partying in college and don't want to even say what else. However, I'm still alive, and I learned the error of my ways. Here I am at thirty-eight years old, and I'm still alive. That's called blessed, too. If you ask me, God sure is good and merciful.

The child is the only known survivor of the 153 people on the plain as far as the press know. We don't even know the details yet so jumping to conclusions it was "God" randomly killing people and saving one is a bit silly.
