Employers prefer wisdom that comes with age, but they like to hire young-looking people. The same goes for sales. This has driven some men to use temporary and cheap cosmetic surgery for business purposes:
There are men in D/FW who are walking around with a big secret -- for them, it's key to staying successful and fresh in today's highly competitive job market.

[Dallas businessman Don Pelham] had several treatments of botox and fillers around his face to help revitalize his look. And, he’s not alone. Dr. Adelglass says “brotox” business is exploding as older men turn to cosmetic procedures to help them face-off with younger competitors –– especially when hunting for new jobs.

It depends on the job but if that is what it takes then yes, you do what you have to in order to compete for limited job openings.

Since I am not so wrinkled (yet), I prefer to go au naturel, not frozen with Botox. I am still a believer to be honest with my age and appearance since it has always been the best policy for me, as well as got me great jobs in the past. To thine own self be true, is my motto. For better for worse, wrinkles come with maturity, wisdom and marketable experiences, nothing to sneeze at.

I'm still being looked at as being under 60. I think that comes from my mother's side.

Because at let im being my true age.... and not lying to my skin. I hate people who try to act like their young it kind of makes them immature (NO OFFENSE to those who do).

In my opinion, it's always good to make people think that you are younger these days. But it is difficult to say if it is better meeting the new employer and co-workers as a person who looks younger than he is, or as a person who looks his age. A person who gets hired on his merits but does not perform, may be more of let down if he looked much better upon hire. This is not a good thing these days. If the person however, gets hired as decrepit nincompoop, and turns out to be a paragon of virtue, that may be better. On the other hand is that even possible? Is it almost impossible to shine when you are hired as a person who'll support in unorthodox and often very costly ways, like processing the offices "snots"? Are you almost always exclusively that, with all interested parties making it a reality? Maybe one should try the job, but always ready to move on, if one is uncomfortable. illness on the job

No...definitely not. This is a fine example of the ever encroaching complete madness that seems to be sweeping through society in our present day...although it could prove worthwhile if some Zombie trys to eat one's face as the taste just wouldn't be the same.Does it come in different flavors.?

haha , i'm not talking about me ! but per example my neighbor is 83 years old , but he looks like he's 55 !

1 : he have a full head of hair , not a single grey hair and seriously his hair look like a 30 year old person who doesnt have any hair problems.

2 : he do have some wrinkles but they are not very noticeable .

3: he's in very good shape.

i asked him how he did that he told me that he never smoked , he never used any drugs and he never drinks and he's a vegeterian so he doesnt eat fats and that stuffs... and then he told me :< well i think i'm a lucky son of a bitch > . lol

all i'm saying is its very rare to find persons like that but they actually exists ... i think they are very very very lucky ! btw i live in brazil and my neighbor is half brazilian half japanese .
