After eating out at a restaurant would you consider it rude if the waiter was to come up to you and ask you if you had left a tip?

long story short this is what happened to me last night. It took me aback because I've never had a server ask me if I left a tip, which I always do anyway. After I had paid the bill I placed the tip in the bill holder the waiter claimed there was nothing in there and after I insisted that I put 7$ in it he tried to say maybe it fell out which I know it didn't. So I was wondering if you guys considered it rude for a waiter to ask about their tip.

- Gracie ~Gun Totin' Gracie~ 2012/07/14 19:45:29Yes+1Under no circumstances should a waiter or waitress EVER ask the customer if they left a tip. I believe in tipping only if they have done a good job..I don't like the tip included crap.reply
