NEVER! I love watching or reading those stories about cute little old people who are still in love or falling in love after the death of a previous spouse.

My former neighbor, who's creeping into her sixties, met and married a man just a couple years ago. It was so sweet watching them grow closer, although I was sad to lose such a great neighbor when she married and moved in with him.

No but you know the prospect of fucking will quickly fade away. That being said - find someone younger and keep in shape!

Why is 50 the cut off date to represent 'old' on SH? I'm 54 and I still have all my teeth.

This is simply a question. I guess I should put disclaimers on my polls like this so people know it is not my personal beliefs or philosophy. I believe there is no limit on age--at the top spectrum--to fall in love.

I am 55 and I have fallen in love with the greatest person in the world. I am sorry that the sentiment might be that over 50 is too damned old but My fiancé and I will vehemently disagree with that illogic!
So, hold your tongues you whipper-snappers!

Cool down! lol I posted the question, not my personal beliefs. Not only is 50 'not too old to marry,' but I don't think 50 is old at all.

NO! i think as long as you are happy with that person and know your in love it doesnt matter what age you are. just cause your 50 doesnt mean you dont have feelings anymore!

Even if you don't find love after 50, be sure to keep hope. When you lose hope, thats when you lose the joy of life!

Honestly, I don't know if I could ever fall in love again. I suppose I could fall in lust, which may lead to infatuation, and who knows where that may go. The "falling" stage can be very complicated, full of lots of pleasant, and not so pleasant emotions. I'm not sure my ticker could handle the strain. :op

Never, most people would hope at this age, instead of looking for love, it's already been there. I'm sure, most of us all want someone to grow old with, I know I do... ... people hope age love grow Old" age, makes it better, I would thing.
