Adele wasn't exactly a big hit on the cover of British Vogue. "Adele is the most popular woman in the world, but one of the worst sellers we've ever had," Editor in Chief Alexandra Shulman revealed, according to vogue.co.uk. Ouch.

So why was the English singer such a flop in ... England? "Music stars haven't sold at all well," she explained. "I find there has to be a relationship with the person on the cover that goes beyond how they look." And everyone has a relationship with ... themselves. "Our most successful cover was the millennium issue -- which didn't have anyone on it, but acted like a mirror so you could see your own reflection!" she said.
So who would Shulman love to see on the cover? One certain pretty English princess, for starters. "I'd love to have Kate Middleton on the cover. I assure you it is not for want of asking," she said. We're not really sure where the Adele cover went wrong. She's super popular, super talented and very beautiful. Do you think Vogue readers (at least British Vogue) readers prefer more typical fashion-y types?

Adele is beautifull and I'm saying because even though she isnt the most skinny Girl she isnt afraid of being talked about☺
Really, just LOOK at it - whoever thought putting her hair all over the place like that needs to be slapped. She looks half lion, half plastic.
Her face isn't natural - then again, who in a magazine's is - and her expression is... lacking. She looks bloody BORED.
Even if it wasn't Adele, I still wouldn't buy it. It's like looking at a photoshopped Facebook picture - you know, the kind girls always use where they close in on their face and crop everything else.
Those eyes! ^-^

So many people talk and 'promote' inner beauty. So why don't they follow it?
Not a fashion model in the least, so she doesn't belong on there. It has nothing to do with her weight ( though, personally, not attracted to someone that heavy), and she's actually quite talented.
It's just that there's a place for musicians-whatever size they are.
I'm all of size diversity within the fashion model field too.
