ABORTION -DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE-

A life is a life is a life.

I do not agree with it, but there may be situations. 1) If a woman is raped. 2) If the pregancy is putting the mothers life in danger.

and the battle cry, it is my body,,, well, how about the baby ? all 23,000,000 of them ?

Personally, I feel abortion is abhorrent! HOWEVER... I am a deeply faithful person who believes that we are all responsible for our choices. Until the law recognizes the hypocrisy of allowing some humans to be murdered for convenience but not others, there's nothing I can do. And I do mean that. I do not judge those who seek abortions. I pray for them and would befriend them if given the chance. But never judge them. If the law changes, I will still refrain from judging them and let the legal system do it's job. In the end, though, it doesn't matter. If I'm right and there is a God, He will deal with them in love and mercy in His own time. If I'm wrong and there's nothing after this life, I have wasted no time or energy on it and the people who seek this solution are no worse off. I guess what I'm saying is that it's on them, not me. All I can do is pray for them and support my local leaders.

I believe it is up to the person having the abortion and God. I do not think women should use it as a type of birth control, so they can go have fun. I don't want someone dictating to anyone. I truly believe this is a personal matter, if you have a abortion it will between you and god one day.

I truly believe that they should make abortion illegal unless the baby has no chance outside of the womb, the mother was raped and can't seem to find the inner strength or for girls or young women under 21 unless any of those apply to her. You really are too young to fully understand the decision you are about to make. Abortion is like an ugly cloud that looms over your head and never leaves you alone. You can pretend it never happened but you can never forget. A greater percentage of women regret ever having had an abortion than not. If you can't take responsibility for your actions that's your own fault. There are other options, like adoption. I don't know about the rest of you but I think it's a sad world we live in when we can swallow the fact that thousands of babies are being killed but we can't accept two people of the same gender caring for and raising one. Shame on us.

Actually saying that I am pro choise would be a better term than pro abortion. The way I see it is that the fetus is in her body and it is less able to feel pain than some non human animals at certain stages of it's development so she should be able to choose whether or not to get an abortion. A fetus will not grow up to have to have to deal with being aborted as it will cease to exist and thus an abortion does not change someones life the way some things do. I mean it is hypocritical that many of the same people who are against abortion are ok with removing part of the penis of an infant when the fetus is still inside the women but the infant being circumcised is not.. I would also say that if it was possible for males to get pregnant and I got pregnant from being raped I would not want to be forced to carry the fetus and so I should not force a women to carry a fetus she does not want.

What about those who survive even for a few minutes and are left to lie there and suffer until they finally take their last breath? Or, the ones who do grow up having to deal with the fact that their mother chose to abort them but they lived through it? What a horrible feeling that would be for both the parent and child.

shouldn't be use as contraception. Rape and accidents happen. Women aren't incubators

The only way I could see it justified is if it was known that the child would be severely deformed or brain damaged and have no chance at all at a life.

Or if the woman/child were raped, especially by a blood relative.

I'd lean more toward adoption in that case

Unless it puts the child's own life at risk, that's a tough one.

there are so many people out there that would make excellent parents, my thought is give it to one of those, adoption doesn't always have to be through an agency

An abortion is between the woman and her doctor. This is what I've always believed, I still believe and always will believe. AND no pro-life bullies will change my opinion.

It's in humane and murder. There are little to no exceptions as to why it's okay to murder a child.

Well why not? If I was aborted that just means I wasn't meant to be and would simply be as nature intended. If I am not born at that time, oh well. The mother can later go ahead when she is more comfortable a stable to reproduce later. Well... turns out I was a difficult child because I screwed up my mothers reproductive organs on the way out >.> so no children later on. I personally think that I should have been aborted but it was her choice.

No I don't believe that Abortion is murder in the slightest. A foetus is a parasite, no more, no less, until such time it is no longer dependent on the host.
