My mom just had her 4th AA meeting today, this is awsome and im extreamly pleased about this. My mom is liking it and im praying that she stays with it. This is amazingly awsome and I might just finally get my old mom back. Sorry but im kinda getting teary about this........ I miss the old days, I might just get them back

My mother was a alcoholic and it did affect me in many ways so I hope you will got to ALANON and get the help and support you need. The path to sobriety is not always a matter of going to a few meetings. My husband was a alcoholic and he went to AA but it took him 10 years to finally give up alcohol. If I can help let me know.

Good for your mom and good for you, Ben! Join an Alanon group specifically for teens. The support from the group will really help you and you'll get some great information on helping your mom, too. I'm sending positive thoughts out to both of you.
