it doesn't matter much to me. i'd much rather be with someone who never smoked or who has the willpower to quit, but it's their life, not mine. i won't let something that small affect any decision in dating a person or not.
its just plain stupid. i found a quote that said "for more information on cancer please continue smoking" the smell is gross and when it turns your fingers and teeth yellow that's disturbing
I should have just chosen "No". I'm not one to judge since I smoked an average of 2 packs a day for about 16 years, but I quit completely back in October 2010 and it actually disgusts me now. I don't even want to be around it. I work on heating and air conditioning equipment for a living, and it is just plain nasty when I have to change a filter that is smelly and brown from all the byproducts of people smoking in their home (I never did smoke in my house; I always went outside even during the winter). Also, whenever somebody lights up while I'm working in their home it makes me want to gather up my tools and leave. What people do in their own home is their business, but when somebody comes to work in their home they shouldn't have to be exposed to second-hand smoke if they don't want to be.
