A Constitutional lesson to Davy Crockett by a farmer. Listen carefully - we should all learn this lesson and fully understand it and repeat it to all of Congress.

Great Find, Annette! Good Job! Although I live in Texas, Tennessee is my Home State! I'm very fortunate to be born in the same State that He was born in, grew up, & served as a Congressman. I live in the State & City (San Antonio de Bexar) (San Antonio, Texas) that He died & fought for Texas Freedom.

That farmer was a true conservative. Washington, D.C. would run a lot better if we were ruled by men like him.

"Giving" applies to both downward and upward handouts.

He would be one of the pitchfork carrying pilgrims - and I bet he was! My great-great way back there was, and I still concur with what they said then and NOT what they are saying now.

Greed. Forget money - that is only a small part of it. They need to feel good about themselves, and greed drives them. Greed for power, fame, fortune, position, stature in the community, fawning sycophants, you name it - it is all under the heading of GREED.

He would have been one of the pitch-fork carrying pilgrims if he were here today! We should all be taking a lesson from this, and especially our Congressmen and leaders everywhere. The men who founded our country were just men, but they thoroughly understood freedom - something we have strayed miles and miles away from . This was a huge comeuppance for Davy Crockett.
