Her mother was a devout atheist who NEVER even mentioned Jesus to the girl. How she was able to draw Him, divine inspiration.

no seriously though, she's definitely an amazing artist!! i'm sure her work will be appreciated and treasured well past her time :D
I hope one day someone lets her know that Jesus would have looked like a Middle Eastern man from around 2000 years ago, not a good-looking American hippy from the 1960's.
"Eyewitness" reports written down by ancient historians vary on the dood's appearance from chestnut-haired, grey-eyed, taller than most others to blonde-haired, blue-eyed, and slim. Who knows, maybe the dood was a metamorph. But various religious texts, including the Bible said he looked nondescript - indistinguishable from other men in the region.

Fortunately, we have forensic anthropology. :D

And the most common eye-color is brown anyway. Black is the most common hair color.
It's different nowadays for sure. I've met people of my own clan that were light-haired and light-skinned and I am half what Americans call Chippewa. Mixes have happened a LOT in the past few hundred years, but it was pretty rare 2000 years ago, particularly when most religions frowned upon "racial" mixing..
And besides, when your Bible says he was nondescript from other men in the region that pretty much gives people the idea that he was dark-skinned, dark-eyed, average height, average build, and dark-haired the same as other Middle Eastern men. Isaiah 53:2 which refers to the coming Messiah as "no beauty that we should desire him"
Was Jesus Mum...(mother) messing around with other men? Aside from that, "Jewish" is an adjective describing a religion, not an ethnic heritage and most Biblical scholars refer to him as Palestinian anyway. only because why ..was He from Palestine read carefully ,,,,Jesus of Nazareth ,, not Palestine
Nazareth was a town (now it's a city). Palestine was a region and it encompassed Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, and what is now Israel; but that's minor detail.
The point was that the guy almost certainly looked like other men from that region.
Get a grip.
I think she's very gifted, but being gifted doesn't excuse anyone from being accurate.
(Oh and yeah I have friends.)
