Now that you've digested that Gucci makes a $495 dress for 5-year-olds, why don't you chew on this? Cheese that costs $96 a slice. Sadly, this isn't a joke.

According to The Daily Mail, Long Clawson Dairy's premium white Stilton is shot through with a combination of real edible gold leaf and real gold liqueur. "You can see the gold clearly in the slices and we've not been shy with how much gold we've put in the batch," said Janice Breedon, a spokeswoman for Long Clawson Dairy, according to the Mail.
"We wanted to create something special, a unique Stilton cheese, for the Christmas market -- just a limited run to hopefully get more people interested in Stilton," she added.
The plan seems to have worked. Celebs -- including a Gulf-based oil sheikh and a famous pop star -- are already demanding a nibble of Clawson Stilton Gold, according to the cheese-maker. "We're frankly amazed that word has leaked out and we're being contacted by some very important and well-heeled people about the cheese. It's Britain's blingiest cheese but, judging by the inquiries we've had, I'd say most of it will be leaving the country before Christmas," Breedon said.
Admit it -- wouldn't you like to try a bite?

O.K. I'm back... What were we talking about. Oh right $96 cheese. Excuse me...
Buy the cheese, remove the cheese, and keep the gold. BOOM! INVESTMENT CITY!!
2. 100$ cheese? No thank you.
-but there could still be health benefits. Much like iron is in a diet, gold may have its purposes...
and yes, there are a very few scientific studies that say gold can be beneficial to ones health. additionally, there are trace amounts of gold in ones body.
but it's really not that expensive!
For example, paper is "edible", but it has no nutrients and comes out on the other end without much change.
