Quantcast

9/11 was one of the most horrifying and unifying days in American history. In 2062, 50 years from now, which iconic image will best capture the Bush/Cheney Legacy by this defining moment?

Like this......W frozen in panic, actionless for more than 10 minutes while people were dying & other threats we imminent?
3 days later....after changing his boxers & pretending to be the Commander in Chief for a few hours?

I would like ONE of you librul sacks of excrement to explain what you would have expected his reaction to be?

    Let's just start there.

Also....who the F is Richard Miniter & what has he published in the past the makes him unbiased and reputable? If he's a crackpot Right-winger with an axe to grind, I'll pass.

Try reading this front to back, if you can read a big-boy book with over 400 pages, if you want what I believe is the most non-partisan history of what preceded 9/11, what happened that day and in the immediate days after, and after a careful analysis as to WHY 9/11 happened....the Commission's multi-point suggestions for what MUST be done ASAP to maximize our chances of never having our guard down in the future to terrorist attacks. It was incredibly compelling & interestingly over 10 years down the road, VERY few of the Commission's suggestions have been implemented. Many who were on the commission attempt to make their concerns known; but the media and two administrations just don't seem to want to listen.

Horrible, but the truth. I suspect we won't see a lot of Tea Baggers putting their two cents in on this question. They stay away from most of mine that are political.

Granted, any human would have been shocked to the point of inaction; but to take no action because you "didn't want to frighten the children...." is lame. You are the President, at least fake it until you get out of the public eye. Time and lives were lost in those 10 minutes. Leadership void, but what did we expect?

OK, I'm up for anything! But I can not tell if you are pro or con what truth I spoke.

I want to know what people would have expected his reaction to be.

In other words, "What would have the ideal perfect President done in that exact situation?"

There is no ideal perfect President, only men who have hopefully chosen to surround them selves with as close to perfect people in his Cabinet & as hisinner circle of advisers.
