90-Year-Old Woman Marries Man She Met on Match.com: Would You Marry at Age 90?

They say when it comes to love, age is nothing but a number -- and Molly Holder proved that's more than just a cliche when she married last weekend at age 90.

Holder, a widow since 1995, decided to try online dating at age 89. She posted a profile on Match.com and quickly met Edward Nisbett, 82, who was also widowed.

"I knew some prince on a white horse wasn't going to ride up and sweep me off my feet, so I had to do it myself," the Floridian told The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

They met in person in January, got engaged in February and they've been inseparable from the beginning.

"We learned that we both loved grammar and poetry," she said.

And there was a good reason for the speedy courtship.

"We decided not to wait, on account of our age," she added.

Would you marry again (or for the first time) at age 90?

Until the woman sits down and stays there she's able to love, leave her to do it.

Maybe. I might change my mind by then, but if I was a widower than I might marry at that age. If I never married or was divorced, then I would not marry.

lol. She's 90 and her hair isn't even gray!

Okay, come on. It's close to the end of their life-time, they want to be happy and live it up for as long as they can. Let them live their life like they want to. They are nothing but two in love like anyone else. So let them marry a shoe if it makes them happy, because it's their life and not anyone else's decisions should overrule love.

No... but it depends. If I'd been married before, then became divorced or widowed, no. If I'd never been married, yes.

Marriage is a waste of time imo, but I guess 90 is as good an age as any to do it. At least you don't have to put up with your spouse for long.

Intrestingly, I had a 90 year friend, a female, who was getting married. The man asked is she likes sex, she said infrequently. He wondered if that was one word or two?????

Its all about love. I have feelings now and I doubt I would stop having feelings at 90 and love is just another feeling. :)

Of course !! I will consider myself so blessed to live that long ! How wonderful would it be to experience falling in love again at that age ? And I love the fact that she is on the internet and joined match.com. That is so cool. I think this is a great story.
