I saved a girl from drowning once, I saw her having trouble so I went out and gave her my float. Ironically, I ended up drowning afterwards.

My 3 year old grandson, last week! His 6 year old sister decided that he needed "swimming" lessons, and took his floaties off, and he was going down 2 times when I pulled him out of the pool. She won't do that again!

I saved a teenage boy from drowning in a lake north of Dallas. I was circumspect in my approach so that he wouldn't drown me with him, but he was as blue as the sky when I pulled him up. He choked up a pint of water when slapped him on the back. No mouth to mouth for me!
