I can't imagine a more disgusting use of technology.

The thought of someone going into their nearest 7-11 and squirting something that looks like mashed potatoes topped with a "creamy gravy" into a container turns my stomach.

What's next? Soylent green disguised to look like steak?

I think it will be a hit. While it is processed, chemically engineered crap... Mashed potatoes are comfort food, and sticks to your ribs. It looks gimmicky but I believe there is a market for this.

No. 7-11 in the US is for convenience items. Meals are secondary, on-the-go type things for them. You can't eat mash potatoes on the go.
