The largest number of children born to one woman is recorded at 69. From 1725-1765, a Russian peasant woman gave birth to 16 sets of twins, 7 sets of triplets, and 4 sets of quadruplets

    Definitely amazing. I can't imagine how her body did it. I guess much stranger things have happened. That poor woman. I most amazing at how she didn't jump off a cliff after about 15.

    i read this on some Random facts website, if it's true or not, who knows, but i do believe it.
    my grandma had 14 kids, all of which survived because they worked at a very young age. so i do believe this could happen:/ i know that 14 is a big difference than 69 but still

    I think he had a say on the matter. I would think they had given it some thought how they would feed those kids. After several kids. Plus I'm sure he had fun making them.

    O.o Insane and awesome at the same time! One amazing thing is that she had twins, triplets and quadruplets, Im not sure how she did but it must have been hard specially in the 1700s.
