Feel like pampering yourself? Well, after you've finished your $35,000 dessert, you can treat yourself to a $500 blowout. Yep, not in this lifetime, we know. World-famous U.K. department store Harrods is offering the World's Most Expensive Blowdry for just over $500, Yahoo! Shine reports.

The treatment starts with a shampoo and conditioning treatment composed of white truffle skin, diamond dust and meteorite extracts from space that "react intelligently to the specific needs of each individual hair type," according to Shine. Let us repeat: meteorite extracts from space. The white truffles supposedly "infuse your hair with radiance and vitality to the core."
We'll admit it: We've gotten a professional blowout for special events like weddings, and it's totally worth it. If you have wavy hair like we do, the result is straight, sleek and shiny. And at our local salon, it only costs $35.
But to pay $500 for a treatment that requires gourmet ingredients -- as well as a rocket ship -- is beyond bizarre, especially in this economy. Would you pay $500 for a good blowout? You DO get to keep the full-size 8.5 oz bottles of Truffle by Fuente shampoo and conditioner. Or, you could dry your hair yourself. At home. For free.
