37% of children in America live in father-less homes. Why haven't the other 63% of fathers figured out that they're not wanted?

Disko Pickle 2012/01/02 02:50:57
If only 37% of fathers take their responsibilities seriously, the USA is screwed.
I'm shocked to discover that 63% of American fathers are child abusers.

As the mother of 2 'fatherless' boys, I can attest to the negative impact it has on their mental and emotional growth and development.

The family mortgage is the nucleus of a debt network. If that wobbles, the financial system comes crashing down.

The family is the nucleus of society. If that wobbles, the nation comes crashing down.

America should worry more about this than about who takes office in 2012.

Its been happening for over five-six decades in the Western countries pat. Strengthening the family unit is one of the few areas where I agree with conservatives. This madness has to stop if society and civilization is to survive. Human values are different from animal values and if we resort to the fatherless/motherless social groupings, we are no better than a pack of wolves or hyenas. This is is no way a broadside at the LGBT community or any other group. Just that those who choose to bring children into this world or provide parental care to children who have already been brought into this world, they need to do so within wholesome, stable institutions.

You may AGREE with conservatives, but I suggest you don't ACT like them because they have a higher divorce rate than liberals, and Evangelical Christians have the highest divorce rate of any religious group in the country. :)

I agree with good ideas friend, not always with the politics of people holding them. That goes for good ideas from other political camps as well :)

Who disagrees with the importance of a strong family unit? But you don't achieve something by following people who say it and don't do it. That's hypocrisy (them, not you). Better to pay attention to people who are doing the thing. They don't spend much time fussing about it -- they're busy making it work.

We've survived for about 4 million years and now number at 7 billion humans on this planet. Seems not having fathers at home makes no difference in population growth ! We are stressing the planet and few seem to care !

Actually I think paternity tests have brought that number down. In our house father knows when we have had enough of him and he goes to his room.

...because many fathers have convinced themselves that their poor parenting skills are merely a form of "tough love".

The 63% selfishly like to wallow in nature by mowing the pocket-handkerchief out back, and once a year wiping down the barbecue grill. They are determined not to be outwitted by some illeeeegles who want to move in on their turf.
