I have been eating 3 Musketeers for over 50 years. I have found that Mars has changed it's recipe and has DESTROYED one of the best candy bars on the market.

I know that this means nothing in the long run, but I will not buy another.

I just e-mailed the company a complaint about the new "richer chocolate taste" bar and they responded that it did not "resonate with all consumers" so they are bringing back the original bar "in the very near future." Hooray!!

I hate the new 3 Musketeers bar. The original nougat recipe was much better. I will NEVER buy another 3 Musketeers bar...not unless they go back to the original recipe.

Like others here, I have been eating Three Musketeer bars for over 50 years. They've ruined it. I'm pretty upset and will never buy another one unless they change it back.

I tried one last week and noticed that it didn't taste right. This prompted a glance at the label to see the "New Richer Chocolate Taste" banner. I've loved these bars for life. If I wanted a dark chocolate, less-fluff bar I'd go with something different altogether. These new things bite the big one. :) It's like a hunk of bland, boring chocolate.

It's terrible! I cannot stand to buy another 3 Musketeers bar because it's just tastes aweful! I used to buy one every day, and I have never bought one since, after they changed the formula :( I wish they would sell the original formula again. More chocolatey = too much chocolatey.. and it's not even a good kind of chocolatey taste either. I liked the dual flavor that the original had.

I don't like the new version at all. The best thing about 3 Musketeers was the contrast between the chocolate and the light, fluffy center. Now it's just too much chocolate. Too sweet, and I can't even finish one now. Won't buy another one.

I thought I was doing good to get a fresh original bar. Now this new one is plum awful. There is no way the company tested this formulation on a group of consumers and received a positive result. Bring back light and whipped.

It occurred to me the other day that I did not know the difference between a Milky Way and 3 Musketeers. So I got a Snickers instead.

You must have got one of the few of the originals that are left. Trust me they have changed the candy bar. A representative from Mars has told me that soon the only ones available will be the new one.

If enough people complain, they'll get the message. Remember "New Coke"?

I've stopped buying products when all they did was change the name; I was not, nor did I want to be, associated with their target demographic. But I did enjoy Sunny Delight.

If they "CHANGED" it, then it is NO LONGER a 3 Musketeer's Bar! Do they call the new one by the same name? Why would they change a perfectly good candy-bar?

I just checked their website. They said they added more chocolate taste. I will try ONE, unless any of the ingredient's are artificial. It is still going by the same name.

I am one of those people who grew up with 3 muskateers. They suddenlty changed the product. I tried to keep up, but the damn stuff was not smooth any more and had a dardboard feel and tastemto it.
Thanx Mars for being Asses. I quite.

    Coke did the same thing!

Wikipedia: New Coke was the reformulation of Coca-Cola introduced in 1985 by The Coca-Cola Company to replace the original formula of its flagship soft drink, Coca-Cola (also called Coke). New Coke originally had no separate name of its own, but was simply known as "the new taste of Coca-Cola" until 1992 when it was renamed Coca-Cola II.

The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy.

Maybe Mars is playing the same game hoping for the same result!

Coke changed its recipe, Kid Rock went country, America went bonkers, there are more important things to worry about like why is it only 1 and 1/2 scoops when it used to be 2?
