  After all these years, I still don't see what people get so freaked out about skin for. It's beautiful. So? It may put sex in the mind of most men and some women for an additional moment added to the tens of thousands of moments every day. So?

  I raised three duaghters, and I have three grandaughters . . . I want them to enjoy life as natural women. I want them to know that their skin is beautiful, and not shameful or wrong. Men "drool" - that's the men, that's who they are.
  
  In Islamic countries (further back in time in the religious craziness about sex), men say that sexy women are to blame if the men are driven to rape or other violence.
  I think Christian offense at sexy images in western media are part of the exact same thing - men's failings, that need to be addressed, not inherent "dirty-ness" in lovely female skin.

  It's about time that women stopped allowing themselves to be exploited to sell magazines and other products. Women who have self-respect don't fell a need to flaunt themselves in front of everyone who happens to pass by. And what are we teaching children who see these images everywhere? They learn at an early age that women are nothing but sexual objects and not to be respected.
