A two-year-old managed to give his mother the slip to cycle halfway across a German town to visit his poorly grandmother in hospital.

Before he set off toddler Noah Joel packed sweets into his rucksack and pedalled his toy bike across the town of Hamelin in Germany, while his mother thought he was playing in his room.
