Have you been in Afghanistan are served in service im guessing not the place is nice and every thing is blown out of proportion you say wow this and that happened in Afghanistan they give you new's based on the whole country now imagine if every bit of new's reported every crime in every city in the us. How would it look. Oh yeah there where never any nuke's there and no al quaida to find 11th thanksgiving no but a celebration that there leaving yes they should of been out year's ago

Afghanistan is the place where empires go to die. Too many lives have been lost. The major players have been taken out & IMHO the way that "war" should be prosecuted is the same way we took out Osama bin Laden. Al Qaeda is in too many places & foot soldiers is not the way to go about doing it.

It's not worth it, bring our troops home.

Considering that the initial reason for the US to be in Afghanistan, at all, was to find Bin Laden, it seems that kepping our troops there longer is redundant after his death. We cannot continue to try to be the worlds "Police Force". why should US servicemen die to protect democracy in a country that shows little regard for the ideal themselves. This "sticking our noses in" is a good part of why Americans are disliked in many places around the globe.

What does oil have to do with it? It sounds like you are parroting the same old lame libtard lie that our war in Iraq was for oil. It was NOT. we get almost NO oil from Iraq, and what very little we do, we BUY at market price!!!

There are NO oil exports from Afghanistan.
