About weightlifting:
started in high school
graduated benching 275
eventually joined a team at my first base and got nationally ranked at 125 in the US for my weight class.
best lifts: Dead 500; squat 425; bench 375
Martial arts:
started in high school only to make myself better at football
Started with karate
moved onto Judo in the AF and then to Hap Ki Do (Korean AiKiDo). total of 6 years training. highest rank attained was with HapKiDo with my 3rd belt. Won 2 comps, one for kumite (3rd) and one for kata (3rd).
I now teach my children basic moves and no longer train.
