Our target demographic for www.girlsbydesign.com is teen girls 14 to 19(ish). This sodahead group is open to those who are in line with our mission, values and are in support of the creation of our website.

[-] Ponne' August 22, 2008 22:27:39You know how you open a door that leds you somewhere you never would have went normally. Well something like that led me here. I don't belong but while here let me first say speaking as a single dad who raised my daughter after her mother died when she was eleven years old, it is good for someone to help these young girls. I was limited in knowing what to do and how to be both dad and mom for my daughter who is now 22 years old. I am proud of her(Ashley) for many reasons but always worry that I did not meet her needs growing up. The truth is that while many single parents raise kids, the needs of the kids are great maybe greater than one parent can handle. So my hat is off to you for wanting to lend a hand. Also I pose this question - How can we as parents give room for our kids to spread their wings and do more without getting it wrong or worse not knowing what their needs are?
