bert & achy breaky teenagers

i went to a show on their latest tour and they were amazing, but the more videos and reviews i hear, the more bert diss's mcr in their shows. i went to one in jersey, and he said he wanted to burn down someone house a couple miles up the road (which is where mcr is from) from where we were. i found this video from one of their shows, and wanted to see what everyone else thought about it (cause i know a lot of the used fans are mcr fans as well) : youtube.com/ watch?v=C083-pY-lv8

    I love the used so much, they are just fun to listen to, I don't really connect with them on this deep level but I don't think their music is meant for that sort of thing, it is purely for the soul enjoyment of rocking out, not giving a fuck, hearing the word fuck about 20 times per song and being crazy, and to get you pumped. Therefore, this band, like a few others, means the world to me haha. I agree, bert and gerard should kiss and make up because MCR I do connect with on a very deep level and I do listen to their music for inspiration and such, their music carries more of an actual meaning, and TheUsed fans tend to be MCR fans and their music just goes together, deep and pointless, but it's a fantastic, entertaining pointless

    The Used are one of my favorite bands. I saw play about 2 years ago and they were absolutely phenomenal. They're one of those bands that sound better live because of their incredible energy (especially Bert).
    However, their new stuff isn't all too good. Theres only a few good tracks on "Lies for the Liar". I went out to but their deluxe CD/DVD on the day it was released only to be ripped off. The DVD is only about 20 minutes long, if not shorter.
    The Used early stuff is amazing though. The stuff is so raw, especially on their debut.
